POSITION: Web Programmer
Description
 
TimeGate Studios is looking for a Web Programmer with experience in a variety of programming areas, including database design and implementation, to architect and lead its web initiatives. This unique position provides the ability to shape and influence exciting projects from the ground up.
 
Requirements
 
·            3+ years of web programming and site architecture experience, including extensive experience with PHP,   Java, Java 2, XML, ASP, .NET, AJAX, MySQL, Perl, Flash, and related technologies.
·            Experience with database design and implementation.
·            Experience dealing with web-based security issues.
·            Good organization and time management skills.
·            Ability to evaluate static design ideas and documentation and provide technological solutions.
·            Excellent Oral and Written communication skills.
·            Must be able to provide examples of current or past work.
·            Must demonstrate knowledge of good User Interface practices.
·            Must demonstrate knowledge of good software engineering practices.
  
Preferences

·            Experience with UNIX Shells.
·            Experience administrating an Apache based web server.
·            Experience working with Visual C++/.NET.
·            Creative vision.
·            Passion for games and gaming.
 
Education and/or Experience
 
Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) or higher in Computer Science or a related degree.
